The 17th BET Hip-Hop Awards, which are set to take place on Friday, have designated Nigerian singers Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu (also known as Burna Boy) and Temilade Openiyi (also known as Tems).
The Awards ceremony will take place in Atlanta, United States, on September 30, 2022.
The nominee list, which honored the best in hip hop music from the previous year through 17 categories, was made public on Monday.
For his self-directed music video, Last Last, Burna Boy received a nomination in the field of Video Director of the Year.
For her role in Future’s “Wait For U,” Tems received three nominations.
