The family of Elle Edwards, who was struck outside The Lighthouse in Wallasey, close to Liverpool, called her “the most beautiful and bright star.”
The beautician, who was allegedly not the intended victim of the attack, was referred to as “the glue that held this big family together.”
A 31-year-old Tranmere man is still being held in jail on suspicion of planning a murder.
The family’s message was read aloud by Merseyside Police on their behalf “No one was more gorgeous than beloved Elle May.
“Her appearance, laugh, and the way she instantly brightened any space in which she entered.
“She had this way about her that as soon as you met her you just instantly fell in love with her.
“Everyone that met Elle knew how special she was.”
Anyone who was around Elle had a good time, according to the family, who also described Elle’s giggle as “infectious.” They claimed that Elle had “so many incredible ideas for the future.” Without her, Christmas and our family will never be the same.
At a press briefing, Det Supt Sue Coombs spoke with Ms. Edwards’ father Tim Edwards and said: “Elle’s family are obviously grieved by her horrific and unnecessary death.
People need to come out and share their knowledge now more than ever because they need answers. A dark-colored Mercedes that was spotted in the bar’s parking lot the night of the shooting was the subject of her plea for information.
Det Supt Coombs said, “We’ve already questioned a significant number of witnesses and have examined a substantial quantity of CCTV video, and we are continuing to pursue a number of lines of enquiry.
“We are determined to identifying the killers and putting them in jail,”
Several shots were fired at The Lighthouse’s entrance at around 23:50 GMT on Christmas Eve, and Ms. Edwards later passed away.
In the attack, a 28-year-old guy was seriously hurt, while three other victims were hurt but not seriously.
A 19-year-old Rock Ferry woman who was detained on suspicion of conspiring to murder has been released on bail, and a 30-year-old Tranmere man who was previously arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder has been recalled to prison.
