Death in Chipping Camden: Son accused of killing mother

On Monday, Matthew Corry, son of Beatrice Corry, will appear before the Gloucestershire Magistrates’ Court in Cheltenham. He is 45 and resides in High Street in Chipping Camden.

Beatrice Corry, 84, passed away on Friday night following an incident that occurred shortly after midnight in High Street in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, where she was discovered with head injuries.

Gloucestershire Constabulary reported that Matthew Corry has been accused of killing her.

According to a police spokesman, “a man has been charged in connection to the death of an elderly woman in Chipping Campden on January 6.”

“Matthew Corry has today been charged with the murder of his mother Beatrice Corry.”
